So, you made some fondue last week for your sweetie (my girlfriends loved it) and now you have this funny bottle of liqueur hanging out in your liquor cabinet just begging you to do something with it. TGIT Great Libations to the rescue! I went on a search for something delicious to make with my own funny little bottle and found a recipe that sounds delicious AND calls for only things that I already have in the house:
Frangelico and Chocolate recipe
Pour the Frangelico hazelnut liqueur into a mug of hot chocolate, stir briefly and serve.
2 oz Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
6 oz hot chocolate
6 oz hot chocolate
Pour the Frangelico hazelnut liqueur into a mug of hot chocolate, stir briefly and serve.
6% (12 proof)
Serve in: Mug
Plus, if you have any of the heavy whipping cream that the fondue recipe called for laying around, you can whip up some of that to put on top! How can you go wrong? Plus this drink sounds like the perfect way to spend an evening wasting time in front of the fire on a frigid winter night.
